David’s personalized trick machine. David is not just a sick rider, but also expresses his visual side through such media as film and print. The custom typographic topsheet on the DB deck was fashioned by David’s creative mind. The line drawn graphic–which spells out Salomon in code–can be deciphered from a number of different perspectives. For winter ’07, David made his board lighter, softer and cleaner, while also retaining ERA performance. "This year," he says, "I am especially stoked on how my board came out, technically as well as visually."
