DESCRIPTION: Everyone likes face shots, but not everyone approaches powder riding in the same way. Some like to make a lot of quick turns in tight spaces and slash everything in sight. Others like to point it and ride with speed and power. With a heavily tapered 158 and a moderately tapered 168, the Notch comes in Geometric profiles for both types of pow shredding. Technology like carbon fiber and centerline bamboo in the tail give both shapes a ton of pop, whether snapping off the lip or power-carving a downhill cornice.

If you’re thing is making powder turns, strap into the Notch series. This quiver of surfy shapes will enhance your face shots, change your approach to the hill, and make you fall in love with snowboarding again—most likely to the point where you’ll quit your city job and move into a caboose down by the river in Aspen. We’ve seen it happen. More»

Strengths: incredible turning and maneuverability super easy edge to edge turn initiation very forgiving board turns with great edge hold both groomers and powder long or short turns does them all well, surfy in the pow but also stable & solid when you lay into hard. Good float in the pow. Great all mountain freeride board for all terrain groomers or deep pow.
