DESCRIPTION: The 2008 K2 Podium Wide Snowboard gives riders with big feet uncompromising all-terrain performance. This K2 board’s sidecut starts out mellow at the tips and gets more aggressive near your feet, which provides the stability to straight-line chutes in the backcountry and the responsiveness to handle quick, tight turns in the trees or in the park. Carbon torsion forks and carbon strips deliver stability at super high speeds and powerful pop for ollieing onto rails or off cliffs. K2 blended the cap tip and tail into the sidewall for low swing weight, so you can finally get that last rotation on your 900 attempts. The K2 Podium’s sintered 4000 base and one-degree base bevel offer superior glide, which lessens the chance you’ll get stuck on the flats during a long traverse.
