DESCRIPTION:
2008 Nitro Suprateam Snowboard — If versatility is what you seek, the 2008 Nitro Suprateam is your pot of gold at the end of an all-mountain freestyle snowboard rainbow. This collective Nitro Pro Team model can smoothly transition from park runs to insane cliff drops without even breaking a sweat. Consistently high-performing, the best of the Nitro Suprateam Snowboard has only gotten better for 2008. Thanks to Nitro’s featherweight Slicecore construction, which employs 3mm-thin strips of wood to keep the board strong and prevent warping, the Suprateam is lighter in weight and more responsive than ever, while Nitro’s new Hi-Def Sintered Base gives you excellent glide and keeps the Suprateam’s sick graphics nice and fresh. A progressive sidecut, that blends a larger radius in the nose with a tighter radius in the tail, eases you into turns and accelerates you out for an exit exploding with pop. Throw in Nitro’s S2 Carbon Dyneema laminates for seriously responsive ollie power, and the 2008 Nitro Suprateam Snowboard is the solution to all your all-mountain freestyle quandaries.

Technical freestyle power with big mountain capabilities, the Suprateam is one of Nitro team’s favorite boards and the most versatile in our line. Carbon and Aramid reinforce the Suprateam so the nose and tail won’t fold on landings. Limited Edition graphics, which were designed by Lukas Huffman, are available in the 157, 160 and 163. More»

The most versatile board in the line, the Suprateam is a team favorite. Carbon and Dyneema rows add stiffness, giving you just the right amount of flex. From park runs to cliffs in the backcountry, this board handles it all. Limited Edition graphics, designed by Lukas Huffman, are available in the 157, 160 and 163. More»

Strengths: All-around board with plenty of pop for freestyle riders, and yet can deliver the goods for freeride riders with carves. Definitely fit the definition of an "all-mountain" board.
Weaknesses: Seems to be a tad brittle on the sidewalls when compared to several other boards I had.
