DESCRIPTION: We were bored, there was no powder, the park was shit and street rails are for old women*. That, and it rained for 63 days in a row in Portland last winter. So with nothing to do we started to play around with variations on the Triple Base Technology. We wanted a board that hard charging all mountain freeriders could really get their teeth into. So we came up with a fully directional shape and then shifted.
So Bataleon was bored, really really bored. It rained 63 days in a row in Portland last winter and so they had a lot of time in which to consider what sorts of new technology they could infuse into their boards. They came up with variations in their Tripe Base Technology. Now, they’ve created a board that can charge hard for the all mountain freeriders out there who’re looking for a fully directional shape that’s ready to ride aggressive and power flex.

Strengths: Triple Base Technology specifically for deep powder. Slightly tapered tail, significant setback, large scooped nose. Quadraxial glass. Carbon. HQ sintered base. Built in Austria. (The Locust was the prototype for the 2009 Undisputed...only difference is they added Kevlar)
Weaknesses: one might say price, but these boards are really worth every penny
