DESCRIPTION: I’ve been responsible for the Mid Life series from the beginning, and the idea I had for this graphic was to use inspiration from boards I’ve done in the past.
The little birds from the Mid Life Crisis in 2005 we’re an inspiration with the journal-style writing. On the Mid Life Lost from 2008 I used interesting looking typography and the Mid Life Photo from last year had the Metaphor die cut base. The artist series from 2007 was on my mind as well, as I wanted this board to be a piece of my art. On the Mid Life Theory in 2006, “I believe” was written on the base, and a similar text is used this year.
Somewhere between the crisis and love lost, I’ve explored ideas that came to me in a flash. Colors mingle, bright and black, blues and whites. Ideas form orbs that explode with love and hate.
You can try to make sense of it all, but maybe it’s better if you don’t. Just believe in me as I believe in CAPiTA.
