DESCRIPTION:
Luxurious perfection with lightweight precision. The 88 is equipped with every feature imaginable in a binding; and above that, it’s even lighter than its predecessors. Developed with a carbon fiber reinforced Baseplate and a new lightweight Opti-stream Highback with a wider forward lean range. The 88 also reveals the latest breed of Salomon development in terms of comfort and control: In the ankle, the new 3D Ergo Frame strap with memory foam gives exceptional ergonomic feel while the new Platinum Fast Fit toe strap widens your support options, both built with lightweight CNC aluminum ratchets, arguably the lightest ratchets on the market.

Strengths: super light at 37.9 oz. (2.35 lbs) - carbon base - cored out highback - large, sturdy ladders and aluminum ratchets - superior heel and toe ramps (adjustable) - fully adjustable toe strap - disks fit both 4 and 3 way inserts +screw holding system - classy looks
Weaknesses: padding in straps is almost non-existent (pressure points) - toe strap doesn`t fit on toe as advertised - ratchets aren`t as strong as they look (one of mine became rickety after first few days)- heelcup not adjustable to boot sizes
